We had an amazing guide who had very good English speaking skills and had great knowledge of the... read more Egypt history. Shaima was always happy to answer any further questions we had ( we had quite a few) and would answer them in detail.

Our guide Shaima was very well prepared and planned the day very well. She arranged the transport throughout the few days and always arrived on time ( although we were always late).

She always had a big smile and was always accommodating to our requests 😊

Shaima was able to recommend good restaurants and other touristy activities we can do in our free time.

We also enjoyed the hot air balloon which was the highlight of the trip all arranged and booked by our tour guide Shaima.

I would definitely recommend Shaima if you are planning a trip to Egypt.

Incredible Luxor Guide  - Shaimaa was an incredible guide. I had some special areas of interest, and she ensured we had the opportunity to see everything related to that interest. In two days... read more we visited Karnak, Luxor temple, Luxor museum, the Valley of the Kings and the Valley of the Workers, with a delicious home style meal to end. Her tour was engaging, researched and detailed, and we hung off every word.

We started out very early to avoid the heat and the crowds, and she collected us from our hotel lobby, providing water, and even hired umbrellas for us so we would get sunburned. She ensured we didn’t get hassled at the sites, and provided recommendations for dinner too.

Shaimaa was trustworthy, reliable, personable, expert, welcoming and passionate about her work and her hometown of Luxor.

Shaimaa is the best tourguide imaginable. She is extremely knowledgeable about ancient Egypt's history and religion and she is keen on giving as much information to you as you are able to digest. She also organizes the car and driver as well as food and trinks duiring the tour. The prize we agreed on is very good value. I cannot recommend her more as the ideal tour guide to guide you to the wonderful temples and burrial chambers in and around Luxor.

Premium custom tour with very knowledgeable guide - I had Shaimaa Hossein as my guide for a customized solo private tour. She was an excellent and reliable guide for the 4 days I was in the Aswan and... read more Luxor area. Her knowledge of Egyptian history and mythology was very deep, and I greatly enjoyed learning about those subjects from her. The paintings and carvings of the Egyptian gods and kings came alive due to her talks during my tours. She also came up with an itinerary for Luxor that fit me perfectly, where we managed to mostly avoid the large tourist crowds due to her planning. We went to Abu Simbel, Karnak and Luxor temples, Abydos and Dendara, Valley of the Kings/Workers/Nobles, and the Temple of Hatshepsut. Her explanations of what I was seeing made my photos more substantial in context, which I greatly appreciated when I shared them on social media. She also shielded me away from most of the shopkeepers and hawkers, and didn't do any "stops" at shopping. Her rates are admittedly on the premium side, but I felt were well worth it for the excellent experience I got from my Egypt trip. Also, the drivers used all had comfortable cars, and the mom and pop place she took me for lunch after Valley of the Kings had the best food I ate during my trip to Egypt. Communicating with her was quick and easy on WhatsApp. My trip experience was a superior experience thanks to Shaimaa

Hands down the best guide in Egypt!  - We did a multi-day tour with Shaimaa in Luxor - Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, Luxor, Karnak and Dendera. WOW! We can't say enough about the quality... read more of her tours - with Shaimaa it is less a lecture and more a conversation. She is INCREDIBLY knowledgeable on all things Egypt, including architecture, agriculture, modern history, as well as the ancient of course! Shaimaa goes above and beyond in every way, and is very open to customization. We are so glad we booked a private tour instead of a big group tour - our Egypt trip would have looked very different. In addition to the regular sites she also introduced us to local businesses for home made lunches, etc. We never felt rushed and we got to meet a lot of local people who were awesome.
We had such a good experience that we booked her for a day in Aswan as well! Support local and small businesses like hers!
